Welcome to a site devoted to the texas hold em rule and strategy portion of the game. I hope to expand on everything soon enough, incorporating book reviews, online poker site reviews.
My name is Joe and I’m a 23 year old college student at the University of Northern Iowa.

It seems that a lot of poker sites out there are run by some 493 time World Poker Champion or something of that nature.

My poker credentials are as follows:

- I’ve been playing online for 3 years now, and have seen A LOT of hands in that time period.

- I’ve read more poker books in the past 2 years than you can count on your fingers.

- I’ll be paying taxes to the IRS this year even though I was employed for a grand total of 3 months in 2005. That being said…. I had a decent year of poker.

- I’ve won an $100+ online poker tournament with 175+ people in it.  I just recently took down a $30 366 person tournament.

* I’m sure these aren’t the most impressive credentials you’ve ever seen, but chances are if you found this page, you’ve been playing for a shorter period of time (or at least less seriously) than I have.
