Interesting hand, but the real problem is that you let him hit his card. I think with a vulnerable two pair, you have to make that bet on the flop. That said, I understand that this was not the point of the hand, so no big deal.

Actually, I recently posted a post titled You Decide #44 where I dealt with extracting the maximum amount of chips when you flop a strong hand, but your opponents likely missed. In that case, my 33 hit the 3hAhKx flop, but the only players were the SB and BB, and they seemed to have missed entirely. I opted to make small, suspicious looking bets on every street, and essentially priced the SB (with A2o) into the hand. The other player actually commented about what he was thinking during the hand, so it's a very interesting discussion.

A good assesment. I have a couple of things to add. Their bonuses are difficult to earn. Also, the reason why the quality of player is better is because players "in the know" (i.e., those who know the big name players and want to play with them) are attracted to FT. It used to be MUCH worse, but with all of FT's ads, there are actually more donkeys then ever. The site is particularly good if you like non-hold'em games. The Razz games seem particularly soft. They also have a decent single-table HORSE SNG for newbies at HORSE. Supposedly, the limit HE games are pretty weak at FT, but I wouldn't know.

[...] Overall, I say Full Tilt is a must see. Check it out, and as an added bonus for reading all the way to the end of the article, I’ve included a picture of Clonie Gowen that might be of interest for any straight male between the age of 10-90. [...]

[...] 4. Finally, check out an article from Jordan at High on Poker for another take on Heads Up Strategy. I’ve got my theories, he’s got his - that’s what’s great about the game of poker, there’s no one correct way to play any type of game! [...]
